
Whitegate Inn policies
- There is a two night minimun for
weekends and a three night minimum for most holidays.
- Check-in time is between 3 and 6 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m. Please let us know if your arrival is delayed and we can make arrangements to have your room key available. The office closes at 7 p.m.
- The Whitegate Inn is a smoke free Inn. Smoking is permitted on the deck and garden areas only.
- The Whitegate Inn now accepts small pets (under 20 pounds) in most rooms. The Whitegate Inn Village Retreat and Abigail's continue to welcome pets. There is a $35 pet fee.
- Room rates are based on single or double occupancy. $30 will be charged for each additional person or child over two years old. Rollaway beds can be made available in some of the rooms. Children over ten can be accommodated in any room. Children under ten can only be accommodated in the Enchanted Cottage. Abigail's welcomes children of all ages in all rooms.
- Your reservation is confirmed when we receive your deposit prior to arrival. You will receive a confirmation in the mail. We have a two night minimum.
- Concierge on staff from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. We will be happy to make recommendations and reservations for all your local restaurants and activities.
- Gift baskets and other special requests are available.
- Ideal for intimate weddings.

Cancellations:
There is a $35 fee for all cancellations.
As a small independently-owned inn, cancellations affect us dearly. A 14 day cancellation notice prior to 12:00 noon on day of arrival is required or you are obligated to pay the full charge of the reservation unless we can re-rent the room or if you wish to rebook for a later date a $75 rebooking fee will be assessed. A 30 day cancellation notice is required for holidays, packages and/or reservations of two or more rooms. |
