NEW WEB SITE LAUNCHED

We are thrilled to announce the launching of our new web site. It’s been a several month work in progress. We tried to create an up to date interactive experience for the guest while still retaining the look and feel of our Victorian inn. We combined the Whitegate Inn and Abigail’s into one home page, which is easy to use and navigate, at WhitegateInn.com
That page will lead you to the detailed descriptions of each inn as well as vacation rentals and wedding information. Of course, we will give you the opportunity to make reservations on line from every page.
I started a blog on the new site and will try to do an entry weekly. Please send your comments. We love feedback.
Also check out the video on the home page for both inns. I tried to convey what we are all about with words and pictures. Listen long enough to see our head innkeeper Katharine wax eloquent about her elaborate eyeglass collection. There is nothing stuffy about our inn or staff.
MARCH SPECIALS
In the last newsletter we offered free rooms for certain dates to the first ten callers. We were literally inundated and had given away all the rooms by the morning of the second day.
This month we’ve varied the theme. It’s called NAME YOUR OWN PRICE.
For reservations for the rest of the month of March, just call us with an offer. Depending on the date requested and the generosity of our staff you just may get a steal of a deal. It never hurts to ask. We of course reserve the right to decline your kind offer. This also does not apply to existing reservations and can not be combined with other special offers such as the winter special.
NEW VACATION RENTAL
We are proud to offer an amazing variety of accommodations in the Village itself. Now we are expanding our horizons into the countryside.

We have a drop dead gorgeous two bedroom bluff side cottage available with ocean, river and sand dune views. This gem comes with a deck, fire pit, elegant rustic furnishings and flat screen TV and wonderful sound system. There is a private bedroom with a queen sized bed and a spectacular sleeping alcove with floor to ceiling ocean views containing a second queen sized bed. Of course there is a full bath and fully equipped kitchen.

We call this treasure Pacific Dunes and it is about ten to fifteen minutes from Fort Bragg, close enough to enjoy great food and shopping yet far enough to provide total relaxation. Walk on the beach or through the dunes, be mesmerized by the waves or just lay on the deck with your favorite novel.

The best part is the price. As an introductory offer, we are renting Pacific Dunes for $200 per night plus tax through May 2007 and $250 per night plus tax June through October 2007.
Only very small dogs are allowed and they are subject to a $50 one time pet fee. There is also a $150 cleaning charge per stay. We require a minimum 4 day stay for weekends and 3 days during the week. |
